Victor Osimhen has credited his Galatasaray teammates for helping him settle quickly into the team since his arrival on loan from Napoli in the summer, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Nigerian striker has been in impressive form, scoring 12 goals and registering five assists for the Yellow and Red.
Osimhen's brace in Galatasaray's 5-1 thrashing of Kayserispor on Sunday night highlighted his growing importance to the team.
"It was very important to come to this team and be a part of this big club and adapt quickly. All my teammates and staff played a very important role in this," Osimhen told the club's official website.
"They made me feel at home from the very first moment. I adapted very easily. I learned how Bar??, Yunus and other players play. I had already played with Dries before.
"I was very happy to be able to get in between them and help them the way I wanted. We continue undefeated in the league and in Europe."
Galatasaray's unbeaten run in the league this season has stretched to 16 games, and Osimhen emphasized the importance of maintaining their momentum.
"As our coach said, we need to go step by step. Every match is very important for us. We also have goals in the Super League. We want to continue on our way," he added.
