Victor Osimhen has praised his Galatasaray teammates after their emphatic 5-1 win over Kayserispor on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Osimhen scored two goals to help Okan Buruk's side extend their lead at the top of the Turkish Super Lig table.
The Nigerian striker emphasized the importance of maintaining their unbeaten streak going into the Christmas break.
"I congratulate our team very much. It was one of the most important matches of the season. It also allowed us to widen the points gap," Osimhen told the club's official website.
"The opponent's players up front were dangerous. For this reason, the victory was of particular importance. I am happy to contribute with two goals.
"We are very happy with the victory before the break. We want to continue this momentum."
Osimhen's impressive form has been a key factor in Galatasaray's success this season, with the striker registering 12 goals and five assists in the Turkish Super Lig.
