Hamburger SV has its goalkeeper trio together. As the Rothosen report, Marko Johansson is moving from Malmo FF to the Hanseatic city. According to reports, around 980,000 euros will be due for the 22-year-old Swede. Johansson will sign with HSV until 2025.
“We were looking for a goalkeeper who is capable of development and at the same time has already gained experience. Both of these apply to Marko. In addition, his player profile fits well into our goalkeeper team. He is big and has other strengths so that we feel very well positioned. We are pleased that the change worked and that Marko is now with us, ”says HSV sports director Michael Mutzel.
After the contract with Sven Ulreich (33) was terminated, Hamburg was looking for a suitable competitor for Daniel Heuer Fernandes. Johansson will compete with the 28-year-old for the status of number one. Despite his young age as a goalkeeper, the Swede can look back on experience in 111 competitive games in the first and second Swedish leagues.
