Heartland Queens technical adviser Coach Obi Ogbala has praised his sides spirited performance against Abia Angels in their NWFL oriental derby week eleven clash last Wednesday at the Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri, Nigeriasoccernt.com gathered.

The Owerri Landladies outclassed their visiting neighbors with an emphatic 4-1 victory on the day to complete the promised double assault.

Goals from on field captain Chimebere Opara, Lucky Mary and a brace from Chinedu Chinaka was all that was needed to demoralize the visiting neighbors.

In his post match reactions, the Owerri landladies gaffer revealed to the club media that his game plan was to disrupt the visiting team game plan which obviously worked for him. He further admitted that Abia Angels is a good side and the fact that it is a derby made the encounter more serious because of the bragging rights that comes with it. He further praised the girls for reacting well and delivering the victory.

“I’m happy I won and I looked towards that because my eyes was on the three points. It was tagged oriental derby and I won them before and bearing in mind that they play well gave the motivation but getting 4 goals was a good one for me".

"Well derby remains derby irrespective of how it’s played, they came with there game plan but we demoralized them making it look like it is not a derby".

"I worked towards it, if you are playing derby you must have a game plan".

"From the beginning of the season I told the girls that goals count giving them a target. They reacted well today and made me proud by delivering so kudos to them", he lauded.

"Right from week one I was on top. Like I said one match at a time. We are working towards Kogi confluence already, taking into cognizance at our mistakes and moving on".

"Looking at the possibilities of achieving Super six ticket, and judging from the permutation, nobody is sure of anything yet, but we will work towards achieving it on time,” Obi concluded.
