Sunshine Stars technical adviser, Bala Abubakar, is optimistic that the blend of new and existing players will yield positive results for the Akure-based club, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The team has bolstered its squad with 16 new signings, including Waheed Adebayo from Lobi Stars and Daniel Edeh from Egyptian side El Gouna.
Abubakar believes the influx of new talent will create intense competition in all departments, driving the team to success. "Our focus now is to build a team with intense competition in all departments," he told Sunshine Stars media.
The recruits include a mix of experienced players from top Nigerian clubs, such as Lobi Stars, Kwara United, and Remo Stars, as well as promising young talents from the youth ranks.
Abubakar will be hoping that the revamped squad can make a significant impact in the upcoming season.
