Nottingham Forest Sign Former Arsenal Forward Nicklas Bendtner on 2-Year Deal

Championship club Nottingham Forest have significantly boosted their chances of promotion to the Premier League this season, after completing the signing of former Arsenal forward"? Nicklas Bendtner on a two-year deal.


The Danish superstar has returned to England on a free transfer after leaving Wolfsburg at the end of last season. The former Arsenal man has spent most of his career in English football, also representing the likes of Birmingham City and Sunderland. He has also spent time on loan with Juventus in the past.

Forest chairman Fawaz Alhasawi confirmed the news on Wednesday, though the club are still yet to confirm the news officially on their website. 


The player, now 28, will be hoping to make a big impression this season after failing to do so with Arsenal - scoring just 32 goals in 136 Premier League appearances.


Danish publication Ekstra Bladet recently reported that Bendtner is set to have his previous wages halved to around £25,000 a week at the City Ground.
