NNL sanctions Sporting Supreme, Kada Warriors

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has imposed fines on two football clubs, Sporting Supreme FC and Kada Warriors FC, for unruly conduct during a Match Day 4 league fixture.

According to the NNL, Kada Warriors fans disrupted the match by throwing sachet water onto the pitch in protest, while the home team's ball boys allegedly hid six match balls to delay the game. As a result, Kada Warriors FC were fined N200,000 for their supporters' misconduct.

Meanwhile, Sporting Supreme FC faced a heftier penalty of N500,000 for inadequate security arrangements during the match.

Both clubs have been given 48 hours to either accept the fines or appeal to the Disciplinary Committee. The league also commended the referee for maintaining professionalism throughout the challenging match.

These fines underline the NNL's commitment to enforcing discipline and fair play across its competitions.
