NFF plan foreign training camp for Super Eagles B ahead of 2025 CHAN

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Ibrahim Gusau, has revealed detailed plans to ensure the Super Eagles B are adequately prepared for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN), which kicks off on February 1, 2025, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

Gusau emphasized that the team would embark on a foreign training camp immediately after completing a two-week domestic camping session in Nigeria. He noted that all efforts are being made to provide the team with optimal conditions for success.

"We deliberately want them to have a place where they can be fully camped and settled without any distractions. After two weeks, we’ll transition them to a foreign camp where they will play quality friendly matches before heading to the tournament venue," Gusau explained.

He reassured Nigerians of the federation’s commitment, adding, "We are very much aware of our responsibilities and will give them the preparations they deserve."

These plans highlight the NFF's determination to position the Super Eagles B for a strong performance at CHAN 2025, where they will represent Nigeria’s home-based talent on the continental stage.
