On Monday, Wales beat Estonia 1-0 in Tallinn in a qualification match to keep Belgium waiting on qualifying to the World Cup in 2022.

Wales made amends for a dismal goalless home draw with Estonia last month with a scruffy 12th-minute goal from Kieffer Moore.

Without a Welsh victory, Belgium would have clinched first place in Group E and a place in Qatar next year.

Wales, on the other hand, maintained their modest chances of catching the world's top-ranked team alive by coming to within five points of Belgium with two games remaining.

Wales will almost certainly make the playoffs, even if they finish below the Czech Republic, thanks to their victory in their 2020-21 Nations League group.

Belgium still has a chance to qualify for the finals when they host Estonia next month.
