Tottenham have reached a provisional agreement with Chelsea over a loan move for winger Mykhailo Mudryk, with the Ukraine international expected to spend the current season at the north London club if the remaining terms can be settled.
The two London clubs have agreed the main elements of the proposed transfer, according to well-known football transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
However, the move has not yet been completed. Tottenham still need to reach an agreement with Mudryk over his personal contract, and discussions on those terms are continuing.
Until that issue is resolved, the proposed switch remains subject to further negotiations. The clubs have established the framework of the deal, but the player’s agreement is still required before the loan can be finalised.
Mudryk is contracted to Chelsea, who signed him from Shakhtar Donetsk in January 2023. The potential move to Tottenham would therefore see him remain in London while joining another Premier League club for the season.
The discussions centre on a temporary transfer rather than a permanent change of ownership. Chelsea would retain Mudryk, while Tottenham would seek to add him to their squad for the current campaign, provided an agreement can be reached on his personal terms.
