Musa Ends 5-Game Goal Drought With Brace

Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa ended his five-game goal drought in Saudi Arabia hitting a brace for his club, Al Nassr in Thursday’s 6-0 thumping of Al Jandal in a King Cup Champion round of 64 clash.

The former Leicester City forward last scored a goal in November 2018 for Al Nassr in their 1-0 win over Shabab

Musa doubled his side’s lead in the 65th minute after Abdulrazak Hamdallah had shot Al Nassr into the lead after in the 15th minute.

Hamdallah bagged a brace in eight minutes to make it 4-1 before Musa completed his double in the 82nd minute

Joliano put the game to bed scoring the sixth goal of the encounter in the 90th minute.

Musa who joined Al Nassr on a four year deal from Leicester City last summer and has scored seven times in 15 games for the club.

Al Nassr who are currently second in the Saudi Pro league division will face seventh-placed team, Al-Faisaly FC in their first league game in 2019.

The 26 years old Nigerian international has also featured for CSKA Moscow, VVV Venlo and Kano Pillars took to Twitter to celebrate his heroics.
