Super Falcons star, Monday Gift, believes her recent move to Washington Spirit will boost her chances of regular playing time with the national team, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 23-year-old forward joined Washington Spirit from UD Tenerife in Spain last month and is optimistic about the impact this move will have on her national team prospects.
"This move will definitely impact my game with the Super Falcons. Playing in such a competitive environment helps you grow mentally and physically,” she told Sports Boom.
Gift has made 10 appearances for Nigeria since her debut in 2019 but was notably omitted from the squad for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
