Nigeria's trio of Gift Monday, Rinsola Babajide and Esther Okoronkwo were instrumental in ensuring their side Tenerife got a draw against Real Sociedad Femenino in the Spanish Primera División on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Super Falcons attackers propelled Tenerife to a 3-3 draw with a goal from Monday while Babajide and Okoronkwo provided an assist each at the Zubieta.
Real Sociedad opened score 20 minutes into the game through De Sanni Franssi before Gift equalled score for Tenerife 7 minutes later with a header courtesy of a fine cross by Rinsola.
However, Synne Jensen restored the lead for the hosts 3 minutes to the end of the first half as Real Sociedad entered the dressing room with the lead.
Sociedad resumed the second half to increase the lead in the 53rd minute after Franssi scored a rebound from Jensen's first attempt.
Blom Jassina reduced the deficit 15 minutes later for Tenerife.
In the 84th minute, Okoronkwo came in for Babajide and 5 minutes into additional time, she assisted Mari Jose for the equaliser as the pulsating encounter came to an end.
Tenerife who sit 9th on the log play Real Oviedo on Sunday, 14 January.
