Coming from a proper seasonal performance he provided for Villarreal, which he's playing for as a loanee, Argentinian international centre-back Juan Foyth, who turned 23 on January 12, has been targeted by Olympique de Marseille, according to The Telegraph. Fending into Spanish club ranks since early October, Estudiantes alumni is still on a parent-club deal with Tottenham until June 2023, and is rather unlikely to be included back in Spurs masterplan, right now.

Purchased by Premier League club in late August 2017, on a 13 million euros, Foyth is now roughly worth the same sum, after a couple slow seasons. Equipped with a dual Spanish citizenship, the 1998-born has so far collected 11 caps for his full-side national team. While El Submarino Amarillo are likely to buy him back from Tottenham, Foyth, still on a parent-club deal with Lilywhites until June 2023, might be put up back for sale, on a higher sum than his latest trade one, especially if Villarreal manage to defeat Manchester United in upcoming Europa League final match.
