While awaiting Champions League final game main event, Manchester City management, according to latest UK news, are about to sign English veteran goalkeeper Ben Foster. Having blown out 38 candles last April 3rd, Stoke City alumni, playing for Watford since 2018/19, made his more than relevant contribution to Hornets gaining back Premier League status, by collecting 23 Football Championship caps on the battle ground.

Definitely not extending his ongoing deal with Vicarage Road side beyond current June 2021 deadline, Foster is still holding the record of the highest number of saves, to date (1187 overall). Playing for Manchester United as a backup, from 2007 to 2010, the experienced stopper also used to play for Bristol City, Tiverton Town, Stafford Rangers, Kidderminster Harriers, Wrexham, Birmingham City, and West Bromwich Albion.
