Ademola Lookman has been omitted from Atalanta's squad for their Serie A opener against Lecce on Monday amidst rumors of a potential transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigerian international reportedly asked to be left out of the squad, fueling speculation about his future with the club.

This development comes as Atalanta is already dealing with the potential loss of Teun Koopmeiners, who is in talks with Juventus.

PSG has expressed interest in Lookman, offering him a significant contract worth €4.5 million per season, more than doubling his current salary.

However, no official proposal has been made to Atalanta, and the club is seeking at least €40 million for the player's transfer.
