Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi Team manager Barnabas Imenger has been hospitalised in a private clinic in Makurdi, Benue State capital.

When our sports team visited Sandra Clinic located on Barracks Road, Makurdi, where he is on admission, the former Super Eagles forward was seen on drip but in a steady conduction.

The former international footballer told us that the doctors have conducted series  of tests on him and was diagnosed with typhoid fever .

At press time the technical crew and players of the Makurdi premiership side had driven  from their St. Thomas Aquinas training ground to the hospital to pray and sympathise with their team manager at the same time wishing him quick recover.

Barnabas Imenger told us that he was looking forward to being discharged from the hospital ahead of the cracker between Lobi Stars and Ifeanyi Ubah on Sunday.

He thanked his fans, technical crew, players and numerous friends and well wishers who have shown concern for his health.
