Armed thieves smashed into Mario Lemina's home while he was abroad on international duty this weekend, making him the latest Nice player to be burgled while away on duty.
While Lemina was abroad with the Gabonese national team for the Africa zone World Cup qualifiers, his wife was robbed in their home in the hills outside of Nice.
Thieves took off with watches and other valuables worth approximately 300,000 euros, according to police in Nice.
Kasper Dolberg, a Nice forward, had his car taken from an airport car park before his house was broken into in September, when he was overseas playing football for Denmark.
Lemina, a former French youth international, moved on to represent Gabon at the senior level, making his senior debut in 2017. He went on to play for Gabon at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
