The dream of Real Madrid to get Kylian Mbappe forced to end this summer. It's revealed why their fantastic bid was rejected by Ligue 1 side, Paris Saint Germain (PSG).

Due to ageing Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale, Los Blancos are already targeting a potential striker. Mbappe had already become their target since the Zinedine Zidane era.

With just one year left on his contract, Mbappe rejected any kind of contract extension from Les Parisiens. His intention to leave is quite clear since the arrival of Lionel Messi.

However, the Ligue 1 club is still looking for his service to form a deadly trio with Neymar and Messi. Even during the transfer market period, they just reject any bid from other clubs.

Real Madrid couldn't stand this by sending a big bid from €160 million to €180 million for the Frenchman. But alas, PSG snubbed the deal because of another reason.

According to the Mirror, Paris Saint Germain still owes Monaco around €36 million in an original deal for the 22-year-old. The flaw seems quite useful for Madrid.

The report added Carlo Ancelotti's side only offered around €124 million using the drawback payment as an excuse. This is why the French club chose to disagree with the deal.

Despite the stubbornness to keep Kylian Mbappe, PSG seems likely to lose in the next transfer window. The French international will be able to join Real Madrid as a free agent without a contract.
