Luuk de Jong showed himself for the first time on Friday evening as a player of FC Barcelona. The new Catalan striker addressed the fans of his new club via Twitter in Spanish and English. On Monday, De Jong will be presented in Camp Nou.
On the club channel of Barcelona, ??De Jong says that he is very much looking forward to his new challenge. He says he can't wait to be part of the Barca family. The 31-year-old attacker is rented by Barcelona this season from Sevilla. That deal was only finalized in the absolute final phase of the transfer period.
De Jong still has to be patient. He will only be presented on Monday in Camp Nou. Due to the international match, coach Ronald Koeman has given his players a few days off to recharge for the next matches.
