Arsenal held their final training session on Monday morning before their trip to the French capital where they face Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in the group stage of the Champions League tomorrow night.

England U21 international Chuba Akpom has been rewarded for his excellent performance with the U23 squad in recent matches, having trained with the first team.

The Hale End Academy product was joined in the workout by Super Eagles rising star Alex Iwobi, who has fully recovered from a thigh complaint and made a cameo appearance against Southampton in the Premier League this past weekend.

The two players have been added to Arsenal’s Champions League roster via the B List along with Tolaji Bola and Aaron Eyoma.

Former France international Roberto Pires, who represented Arsenal for six years before hanging up his boots, practiced with the squad today, according to Jeorge Bird of Arsenal Youth.
