Mjällby AIF have confirmed the signing of Nigerian youngster Ibrahim Adewale from Tripple 44 Football Academy, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 19-year-old who can play both as a wing-back and a striker has agreed to a long-term contract that runs until the end of the 2030 season.
Adewale joins the Swedish club after a standout campaign with IF Karlstad Fotboll where he emerged as one of the brightest talents in Ettan Norra, Sweden’s third division.
He impressed with 15 goals and six assists in 29 appearances showcasing his pace, versatility and attacking flair.
Originally developed at Tripple 44 in Nigeria, Adewale joined Karlstad on loan before attracting strong interest from Mjällby’s scouting team. After successful negotiations, both clubs reached an agreement for his permanent transfer.

Adewale will officially join Mjällby AIF in January 2026 with the club confident that his energy and technical ability will make him a valuable addition for the seasons ahead.
