Chibuike Nwaiwu has attracted growing transfer attention following an impressive breakthrough spell at Trabzonspor, with the Turkish side reportedly placing a €35 million valuation on the defender ahead of the summer transfer window, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 22-year-old only joined Trabzonspor from Austrian club Wolfsberger AC during the January transfer window but has quickly established himself as a key figure in the squad. He impressed in the second half of the season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in 16 league appearances, while also playing an important role in the club’s Turkish Cup success.

However, reports suggest Trabzonspor have already begun planning for a possible departure, with Gambian defender Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh of Tromsø IL identified as a potential replacement. The Turkish club is reportedly considering a €7 million bid for the youngster.
Interest in Nwaiwu is growing across Europe, with Premier League side Fulham FC among the clubs monitoring his situation. A move to Craven Cottage could see him link up with fellow Nigerians Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey.
