Super Eagles goalkeeper Amas Obasogie has expressed his delight after returning to Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Bendel Insurance, describing the move as a homecoming, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

The shot-stopper previously featured for the Benin Arsenal before leaving the club several seasons ago to pursue a new challenge. He has now returned to the Edo-based outfit with more experience and renewed determination.

Obasogie reflected on his return in a message shared on Instagram.

“Back to where part of my journey began,” the goalkeeper wrote.

“Sometimes, life takes you away so you can grow, learn, and become stronger. Today, I’m grateful for the opportunity to return to my former team not just as a player, but with more experience, hunger, and determination.

“I’m ready to give my all for the badge, the team, and the supporters. Back home, back to work. Let the journey continue.”

The return of Obasogie is expected to provide Bendel Insurance with valuable experience and strengthen their squad as the club prepares for the new NPFL season.
