Ricardo Rodriguez has returned to Serie A after agreeing a one-year contract with Torino, with the deal running until 30 June 2027.
The experienced Switzerland defender previously played in Italy for Milan and will now continue his career with Torino, the second-leading club from Turin. His move brings him back into the Italian top flight and sets up a reunion with former Milan team-mate Ignazio Abate.
Abate is now Torino’s manager, meaning the pair will work together again in different roles. Rodriguez and Abate were previously team-mates at Milan, but Abate will now be responsible for coaching the 33-year-old defender at the Turin club, according to pianetamilan.it.
