The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has postponed the final of the 2026 President Federation Cup, moving the fixture from its original date of June 27 to July 11, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Despite the change in schedule, the venue remains the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State, where the decisive clash will still take place as planned.
The final will see Nigeria Premier Football League side El-Kanemi Warriors face off against Ikorodu City FC in a highly anticipated contest for one of domestic football’s most prestigious trophies.
The reason for the postponement has not yet been officially disclosed by the football authorities.
Both teams will now have additional time to fine-tune their preparations as they look to crown their season with silverware in Asaba.
