Manchester City moved top of the Premier League after a convincing 3-0 victory away to Liverpool on matchday six.
The result was the club’s sixth win in the opening six matches of the current league season. All three goals came without reply as Manchester City secured an emphatic success at Anfield.
The victory also saw manager Enzo Maresca join a select group of coaches who have won their first six matches after being appointed to a Premier League club, according to TNT.
Only three managers had previously achieved the feat: Carlo Ancelotti with Chelsea, Josep Guardiola with Manchester City and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with Manchester United.
Manchester City’s perfect start leaves them at the top of the top-flight table with 18 points.
