Manchester United are prepared to consider offers of about €35m for Joshua Zirkzee during the January transfer window, according to Calciomercato.
The Netherlands international, who is of Nigerian descent, joined the club from Bologna in 2024 but has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter at Old Trafford.
Zirkzee, 25, has not started a match for Manchester United this season and has played only 70 minutes in all competitions. His limited involvement could increase the possibility of a move in January, with a return to Serie A emerging as a serious option.
Juventus, AC Milan, Fiorentina and AS Roma are among the Italian clubs reported to have shown interest in the former Bologna forward. Manchester United are also willing to consider a loan deal with an option to buy, although €35m is now viewed as their benchmark for a permanent transfer.
Zirkzee scored for the Netherlands during the recent international break, giving him several weeks to improve his position at club level before the January window opens.
His playing time under Michael Carrick is expected to be an important factor in determining whether he remains at Old Trafford. Zirkzee’s contract runs until June 2029 and includes an option for a further season.
The striker’s market value is estimated at €20m. He earns €6,556,231 per year in England, equivalent to 4,261,550,150 FCFA.
Manchester United are next scheduled to face Tottenham in the sixth round of the English championship.
