Milan forward Goncalo Ramos said he had the utmost respect for Marco Carnesecchi after the Atalanta goalkeeper saved his second-half penalty in Milan’s 3-2 Serie A win.
Ramos opened the scoring from the spot in the 24th minute, but was denied when he took another penalty in the 57th minute. Carnesecchi made the save to prevent him from adding a second goal.
“I take my hat off to him,” Ramos said of the Atalanta goalkeeper.
The result came in the seventh round of Serie A and leaves Milan fourth in the league table.
