Getafe came from behind to draw 1-1 with Rayo Vallecano in the ninth round of the Spanish championship, despite playing with 10 men for more than an hour.
Rayo Vallecano took the lead in the 11th minute when Alvaro Garcia converted an opportunity to put the visitors ahead.
Getafe’s task became more difficult before half-time. Djene was shown a red card in the 29th minute, leaving the home side a player short.
However, Getafe responded after the interval. Martin Satriano equalised in the 57th minute, sending the ball into the Rayo Vallecano goal.
Neither team was able to find a winning goal during the remainder of the match.
