Super Eagles winger Femi Azeez has been named in the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Championship Team of the Year following an outstanding 2025/26 campaign with Millwall, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
The 24-year-old enjoyed an impressive season for the Lions, registering 11 goals and eight assists in 37 league appearances to play a key role in the club’s promotion push.
Millwall eventually saw their hopes of reaching the Premier League ended by Hull City in the Championship play-off semi-finals.
Azeez was joined in the PFA Championship Team of the Year by his Millwall teammate Tristan Crama, underlining the club’s strong campaign.
The winger’s impressive form also earned him an opportunity at international level, with the former Reading forward making his Nigeria debut in memorable fashion.
Azeez scored twice against Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz in May, providing an encouraging start to his Super Eagles career.
