Inter defender Federico Dimarco has addressed the situation surrounding a possible contract extension with the Milan club, with his current agreement due to expire in the summer of 2027.
Dimarco is an Inter academy graduate and has spoken about his future as the club considers what comes next for one of its established first-team defenders. The Italy international’s contract remains in place for another year, but the prospect of a new deal has become a subject of interest because of his importance to Inter.
The 28-year-old left-back has made 238 appearances for Inter, scoring 26 goals and providing 52 assists for his team-mates. Those figures underline his significant contribution in both defence and attack since returning to a prominent role with the club.
Dimarco came through Inter’s youth system and, according to the source information, has represented the club since the summer of 2028.
