Everton and England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has emerged as a potential target for Bayern Munich as the German club considers its long-term plans between the posts.
The 32-year-old has been identified as a possible successor to Manuel Neuer, who is highly likely to retire at the end of the season.
According to Transfer News Live, citing journalist Alan Nixon, Pickford is one of two goalkeepers on Bayern Munich’s shortlist. Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen is also being considered, but Pickford is understood to be the club’s preferred option.
Everton are not keen to lose Pickford, whose current contract runs until the middle of 2029. The goalkeeper has been with the club since 2017 and remains an established member of the England squad.
Transfermarkt values the Everton goalkeeper at €13m.
