Aston Villa head coach Unai Emery has named just three of the club’s 10 summer arrivals in his starting line-up for Premier League matches, with Zion Suzuki, Joao Gomes and Nicolas Jackson the only new recruits to have begun games.
Emery said Aston Villa would need time to develop as a team with so many new players. “We must build a team with new players,” he said.
After three rounds of the Premier League, Aston Villa have collected one point and sit 18th in the table.
