Coventry City have lost their first four league matches of the season for the first time in the club’s 107-year history.
The Premier League newcomers have scored no goals, collected no points and conceded 10 in their opening four games.
Coventry returned to the English Premier League after a 25-year absence, having won the Championship emphatically last season. However, their start under Frank Lampard has been in stark contrast to their dominance in the second tier.
Lampard’s side controlled much of the previous campaign but have struggled badly since returning to the top flight. No Coventry manager had previously begun a season with four consecutive defeats in any division.
Coventry’s next fixture is an away match against Nottingham Forest.
