Nigeria defensive midfielder Christian Chukwuka has joined Lebanese Premier League club Shabab Al-Sahel, completing a move on 20 September 2026.
The 29-year-old, who was born in Ekwulobia, is a right-footed midfielder and stands 1.80m tall. He joins Shabab Al-Sahel after a career that has included spells in Albania, Jordan and Cyprus.

The midfielder began his recorded senior career with FK Bylis, joining the Albanian club in September 2016. He later moved to Gonyeli SK in 2018, before leaving the Cypriot side in 2020. His move from FK Bylis to Gonyeli SK was completed as a free transfer.
Chukwuka has also featured in Albanian domestic football. His recorded appearances include four matches in the Kupa e Shqiperise, with 313 minutes played. He has been listed primarily as a defensive midfielder throughout his career.
His arrival takes him into the Lebanese Premier League with Shabab Al-Sahel, adding an experienced Nigeria international-position player to the club’s midfield options. The transfer was registered on 20 September 2026.
Chukwuka is now a Shabab Al-Sahel player.
