IMC, Club owners mourn with NRA over Ass. Referee Kingsley Nnaemeka Eneogwe's death

The Nigeria Referees Association have announced that NPFL assistant referee Kingsley Nnaemeka Eneogwe, has died, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

Eneogwe who is also reported to be a medical doctor was one of the officiating referees for the match day 5 encounter between Nasarawa United and Plateau United played in Kaduna State.

He was involved in a fatal motor accident on his way back from Kaduna along Lokoja – Enugu road on Thursday.

He was a until his death a member of the Abia State Council of the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA).

Meanwhile, the Interim Management Committee (IMC) has expressed grief at the news of the death of Referee Kingsley Nnaemeka Eneogwe.

The body in a release signed by secretary, Bamiduro Olumide "commiserated with the immediate family, Abia State Football Association, Abia State Referee Council, Nigeria Referee Association and friends on this ugly incident."

The club owners in a statement signed by Chairman Barr Isaac Danladi and the Executive Secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka, Club Owners prayed for the repose of his soul and for God to grant his immediate family and friends the fortitude to bear the loss.
