Black Stars defender Daniel Amartey netted a sensational goal for FC Copenhagen in Denmark while Obeng Reagen, Ernest Asante and Mitch Apau also scored in their respective league games. 

Striker Kwesi Appiah ended his loan spell at Reading with a 2nd minute strike against Derby County at the iPro Stadium while Swedish-born Ghanaian Simon Adjei also got on target.

Former Medeama SC midfielder Theophilus Annorbaah also got on target for Ismaily in Egypt.

FRANCE

Andre Ayew played the entire duration of the game for Olympique Marseille who ended their five-game winless run with a 2-0 win over Metz. Injured forward Kwame Nsor was not in the Metz squad for the game.

Jonathan Mensah was axed from the Evian TG squad as they lost 2-0 at Olympique Lyon.

Striker Jordan Ayew was in full time action for Lorient when they drew 0-0 against Bordeaux on Saturday.

French-born former AS Monaco defender Dennis Appiah was in full time action for Caen who held OG Nice to a 1-1 draw.

Midfielder Ben Amofa was in action for Strasbourg who downed Frejus Saint Raphael 2-0.

Charles Boateng lasted 76 minutes for Avranches who lost 2-1 at Istres.

AUSTRIA

Duo David Atanga and Lawrence Ati-Zigi both played for Liefering who shared the spoils in a 1-1 stalemate with Wacker Innsbruck. Frederick Adjei came off the Liefering bench in the 61st minute to play in the game but midfieder Raphael Dwamena was unused.

DENMARK

Midfielder Daniel Amartey scored a crucial goal for FC Copenhagen when they won 2-1 against Esjberg on Sunday. Danish-born midfielder Kevin Mensah was on the Esjberg bench for the game. Danny Amankwaah was not in the Copenhagen squad for the game.

GERMANY

Baba Rahman excelled in defence for Augsburg who split points with FC Koln following a 0-0 draw.

Half-Ghanaian German international Karim Bellarabi assisted a goal for Bayer Leverkusen as they defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 at the Bay Arena.

Kevin-Prince Boateng climbed off the bench to assist a goal for Schalke 04 as they defeated VfB Stuttgart 3-2 on Saturday afternoon at the Veltins Arena.

German-born Ghanaian midfielder Evans Owusu Nyarko sat on the Borussia Dortmund II bench when they won 2-0 against Stuttgart II. Injured Joseph Gyau was not in the Dortmund squad for the game.

Philemon Ofosu-Aryeh played entire game for Aalen who suffered a 4-2 loss against VfL Bochum on Sunday.

Former Schalke 04 midfielder Anthony Annan was not in the 1860 Munich team that lost 3-0 against Union Berlin.

Reinhold Yabo did not make the trip with Karlsruhe who slipped to a 3-1 loss at Aue on Sunday.

German-born midfielder Reagy Ofosu played 72 minutes for Chemnitzer FC who defeated Wehen 2-1.

Elsewhere Kwame Kusi was in full time action for Fortuna Koln when they drew 2-2 with Erfurt.

Frederick Kyereh played the last 10 minutes of the game for Energie Cottbus when they shared the points with Unterhaching after drawing 3-3.

Randy Edwini-Bonsu came off the bench to score one of the consolation goals for Stuttgarter Kickers who lost 4-3 against Dresden.

BELGIUM

Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Mitch Apau scored for Westerlo when they defeated Lokeren 4-3. Apau played the entire duration of the game but former Liberty Professionals youth team player Eugene Ansah warmed the bench. Belgian-born defender Dennis Odoi played full throttle for Lokeren.

Genk whitewashed Waasland-Beveren 7-1 on Saturday. Ghanaian midfield international Bernard Kumordzi missed the game with injury. But in the Waasland team was Ghanaian pair of David Addy and Jerry Vandam were in action for Waasland but former Olympique Marseille youth team attacker Kevin Osei could not make their squad for the game.

Winger Frank Acheampong played for Anderlecht when they won 1-0 at Sporting Charleroi on Sunday.

Elsewhere Nana Akwasi Asare played the entire match for KAA Gent when they won 1-0 at Kortrijk.

CZECH REPUBLIC

Slovan Liberec and Bohemians 1905 shared the spoils after drawing 1-1. Former Liberty Professionals midfielder Isaac Sackey was unused Liberec while Dutch-born Kevin Luckassen was not in their team for the game.

Banik Ostrava and Pribram split points in a 0-0 draw. Former Ghana U20 attacker Francis Narh 61 minutes for Ostrava but Derrick Mensah was axed from their squad for the game.

EGYPT

Former Ghana Premier League Golden Shoe winner Nana Poku played for Al Shorta when they held ENPPI to a 1-1 draw.

Former Medeama SC midfielder Theophilus Annorbaah scored the second goal for Ismaily when they defeated Misr Elmaqasah 2-0 in the Egyptian Premier League on Saturday.

ENGLAND

Versatile Black Stars attacker Jeffrey Schlupp returned to the Leicester City side and played the entire minutes of the game as they won 3-0 against ten-man Newcastle United.

Ghana U23 invitee Koby Arthur sat on the Birmingham City when they posted a 1-0 win over Bolton Wanderers.

Alexander Tettey was out of the Norwich City squad when they won 4-2 against Fulham.

Albert Adomah played the entire game for Middlesbrough when they drew 0-0 with Brighton and Hove Albion.

In the League Two, Zak Ansah played 74 minutes for Plymouth Argyle when they beat Shrewbury Town 2-0.

Still in the League Two, former Aston Villa youth team midfielder Ebby Nelson-Addy played 57 minutes for Hartlepool Town when they drew 3-3 with Carlisle United.

Ghana U23 invitee Enoch Ebo Andoh was unused as he warmed the bench for Port Vale who lost 2-1 against Fleetwood Town.

NETHERLANDS

German-born Ghanaian defender Marcel Appiah played the entire game for NEC Nijmegen who continued their winning run with a 2-1 victory over Jong Ajax. Ghanaian pair of Leeroy Owusu and Elton Acolatse both started the game for Jong Ajax but Kenny Tete was not in their team.

Roda JC kept their promotion hopes in sight after narrowly beating Almere City 1-0. Edwin Gyasi could not make the Roda squad for the game but Raymond Gyasi played the entire first 45 minutes for Roda.

Johnathan Opoku was not in action for nine-man Oss who were humiliated 5-1 by visiting Sparta Rotterdam.

FC Eindhoven posted a slim 1-0 win over Jong FC Twente. Midfielder Shadrach Eghan played the entire match for Twente.

PORTUGAL

Bernard Mensah played 78 minutes for Vitoria Guimaraes who won 2-0 against Estoril.

Defender Richard Ofori warmed the bench for Academica Coimbra who drew 0-0 with Penafiel.

In the second-tier league, Ernest Nyarko was not in the Farense team that won 3-0 against Academico Viseu.

Joseph Amoah was not in the Vitoria Guimaraes II team that drew 0-0 with Maritimo B. Boakye Mensah Panin was not in the Maritimo B team.

Former Manchester City player Thomas Agyiri was in full time action for Atletico CP who lost 1-0 against Santa Clara.

ROMANIA

Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muniru played the full time for CFR Cluj who held FC Brasov to a 2-2 draw.

SCOTLAND

Black Stars winger Wakaso Mubarak was not in the Celtic team that won 5-0 against Dundee FC.

English-born Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Osman captained Partick Thistle to a 3-0 win over St Mirren.

Prince Buaben was not in action for Heart of Midlothian who were crowned champions of the Scottish Championship after their 2-2 draw with Rangers.

SOUTH AFRICA

Former Black Stars defender John Paintsil was in full-time action for Maritzburg United who slipped to a 1-0 loss against Moroka Swallows. Forward Anas Mohammed came off the bench in the second-half to play.

Black Aces managed to draw 2-2 with Bidvest Wits on Saturday. Defender Kwabena Adusei was not in the team but midfielder Edwin Gyimah played the entire match for Aces.

John Arwuah played 58 minutes for AmaZulu who lost 3-1 against SuperSport United.

SWEDEN

GAIS edged Brommapojkarna 2-1. Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Yussif Chibsah came off the bench to replace compatriot Reuben Aryana who picked an injury in the 44th minute.

Enock Adu Kofi excelled in midfield as he helped Malmo FF to a 3-1 triumph over Helsingborg IF. Former Right to Dream Academy graduate Ema Boateng was brought on in the 73rd minute by Helsingborg.

Elsewhere former Heart of Lions attacking midfielder Kwame Bonsu played the entire match for Mjallby who lost 1-0 against Jonkopings. Another former Lions player Benjamin Fadi sat on the Mjallby bench.

Patrick Amoah was in full time action for Huddinge IF when they lost 2-1 against Vasalunds.

UAE

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan was in full time action for Al Ain who brushed aside Bani Yas 1-0.

ITALY

Juventus won their fought straight Serie A title at the expense of Sampdoria after beating them 1-0. Midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah was injured and missed the game but Inter Milan loanee Alfred Duncan came off the bench to replace Spanish international Obiang in the 72nd minute. Afriyie Acquah was suspended for the game.

Ghana U23 midfielder Raman Chibsah enjoyed a rare start for Sassuolo as he played 58 minutes for them in their 0-0 draw with Palermo. Swedish-born could-be Ghanaian Robin Quaison came off the bench to play the last 5 minutes for Palermo.

Neither Michael Essien nor Sulley Muntari was not in the AC Milan team that got humiliated 3-0 at Napoli.

Inter Milan and Chievo Verona shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw. Midfielder Isaac Cofie sat on the Chievo bench for the game.

Striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom was a bench warmer for Atalanta who held Lazio to a 1-1 draw.

Suspended Agyemang-Badu missed Udinese's 1-0 away win over Hellas Verona.

In the Serie B, AC Milan loanee Kingsley Boateng came off the Bari bench in the 67th minute in their 1-0 win over Cittadella.

Maxwell Acosty and Amidu Salifu both introduced in the second-half by Modena who slipped to a 2-1 loss against Carpi.

Moses Odjer was unused by Catania who were held to a 1-1 draw by Livorno.

Moro Al-Hassan sat on the Vicenza bench in their 0-0 draw with Entella.

There was no Masahudu Alhassan in the Latina team that beat Varese 2-1. But youngster Nelson Atiagli warmed the Latina bench.

KAZAKHSTAN

Striker Patrick Twumasi played 82 minutes for FC Astana who thrashed Tobol 4-0 in the Premier League on Sunday morning.

Elsewhere former AIK Solna midfielder Moro Ibrahim was not in the Almaty team that held Kaisar Kyzylorda to a 0-0 draw.

SPAIN

Dannis Inaki Williams played the entire game for Athletic Bilbao when they held Atletico Madrid to a 0-0 draw.

Mohammed Fatau was not in the Rayo Vallecano team that held Espanyol to a 1-1 draw.

Derek Boateng enjoyed rare 90 minutes for Eibar when they lost 3-1 at Valencia.

NORWAY

Midfielder Mohammed Abu was in full time action for Stromsgodset who drew 1-1 with Sarpsborg 08. Compatriot Bismark Adjei-Boateng was unused.

In the second-tier league, attacker Mahatma Otoo lasted 79 minutes and fired blank for Sogndal IF who were held to a 1-1 draw by Kristiansund.

TURKEY

Trabzonspor succumbed to a 2-0 loss against Besiktas on Sunday. Defender Daniel Opare played the entire game for Besiktas while striker Abdul Majeed Waris played the last 6 minutes for Trabzonspor.

USA

Kofi Opare was in full time action for DC United who beat Columbus Crew 2-0.

English-born Ghanaian international Lloyd Sam came off the bench in the 58th minute to play for New York Red Bulls who lost 2-1 against New England Revolution.

American-born Ghanaian Gyasi Zardes played the entire match for LA Galaxy as they shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Colorado Rapids.

Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps drew 0-0. Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey and Ishmael Yartey started the game for Timbers while midfielder Gershon Koffie also played full throttle. Yartey was replaced in the 52nd minute.

David Accam was sent off in the 89th minute while in action for Chicago Fire in their 1-0 loss against Sporting Kansas City on Sunday night.

RUSSIA

Rabiu Mohammed lost his place in the Kuban Krasnodar team that lost 3-1 against Dinamo Moscow in the Premier League on Sunday.

SERBIA

Young midfielder Obeng Regan scored the opener for Cukaricki in their 2-2 draw with Mladost.

Abraham Akwasi Frimpong flourished in midfield and lasted the entire minutes of the game for Napredak who beat Borac 2-1.

Neither Rashid Obuobi nor Moro Abubakar was in the Donji Srem team that squeezed a point from Jagodina after holding them to a 0-0 draw.

SWITZERLAND

Striker Samuel Afum warmed the bench for Young Boys BSC when they won 1-0 at FC Zurich.

Ebenezer Assifuah played 73 minutes for FC Sion when they pipped St Gallen 1-0.

RUSSIA

Midfielder Rabiu Mohammed could not make the Kuban Krasnodar squad for their 2-1 home loss against Dinamo Moscow.
