Former Black Stars undisputed number one goalkeeper Richard Olele Kingson says he is enjoying his return to Olympics as it affords him the opportunity to be playing football on a regular basis.

Kingson has been a breath of fresh air on his return to the domestic league and has reinvigorated interest in the league.

The former Wigan Athletic gloves man went four games before conceding his first two goals against New Edubiase in the league, a game which ultimately ended two all.

The 36 years has received rave review from connoisseurs of the game since his return to Olympics with some ardent fans calling for his reintroduction into the Black Stars, since the team has failed to properly replace him.

But Kingson says he is just enjoying the game that has brought him wealth and fame.

“Football has been my job and I am happy to be able to play it on a regular basis again,’ The Ex-Birmingham man told Citi FM

“I do not think I was treated well by the media in the past but I guess I just have to keep on enjoying the game on a regular basis.

“The decision to come back and play for me was always an easy one since I didn’t play football for the money but I enjoyed playing the game.’’

With the inclusion of veterans Kingson, Attram and Dan Quaye Olympics have moved from the bottom of the table to end the first half of the league table on 13th position.
