Gothia Cup '24: Hanif Sanusi lead Sporting Lagos Academy to consecutive wins

Sporting Lagos Academy have won their second game of the Gothia Puma trophy B-17 in Sweden after beating NorCal Premier PDP of the USA on Tuesday morning, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The 2-0 victory came courtesy of two goals from Hanif Sanusi in the second half of the game at the Heden 4 - Puma Stadium.

Sanusi opened score through a header after connecting to the cross from Kelly on the 42nd minute after coming on within minutes.

He made it two seven minutes later with a fine strike to seal the win and send the Lagos side to the next round.

It will be recalled that Sporting Lagos Academy had defeated IFK Norrkoping 2-0 courtesy of goals from Emmanuel Ugochukwu and Bidemi Amole in the first game on Monday.
