Ghanaian forward Kwame Karikari got on target for Turkish second-tier side Balikesirspor FC who trounced fourth-tier side Ankara Adliyespor 5-1 in a pre-season friendly last week.

The 23-year-old former Ghana U20 forward scored with a signature finish from the edge of the area and assisted the third goal as Balikesirspor raided in five goals in their first pre-season game.

Karikari arrived at Balikesirspor on loan from Swedish Allsvenskan side Halmstad BK and seems to have started work on a good note.

The former AIK Solna striker played at the club in 2013 and helped them to secure promotion to the Turkish top-flight but was not signed permanently by the club.
