Ghana and Leicester city winger Jeffrey Schlupp got his debut goal for the Black Stars in the team’s heavy win against Mauritius.
The 23 year old Leicester City winger added to first half strikes from Christian Atsu, Jordan Ayew, and Asamoah Gyan to give Ghana a commanding 6-1 lead on the 62nd minute.
Schlupp’s overall performance was impressive given he has always found it extremely difficult to replicate his club form at the international level.
The Stars ultimately won the tie 7-1 after U.S based David Accam scored late on to widen the gap.
