Steve McManaman, the former Real Madrid and Liverpool player, has voiced his opinion on Napoli's Victor Osimhen, stating that the Nigerian attacker is not currently performing up to his £100 million price tag, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

McManaman, speaking on TNT Sports, also discussed Osimhen's potential move to the Premier League next season.

Osimhen, who is set to depart Napoli at the end of the season, has attracted interest from clubs like Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

McManaman believes that the Premier League would be the ideal destination for Osimhen due to financial constraints faced by clubs in other leagues.

McManaman remarked, "The only place he can go is the Premier League and he is certainly not playing like a £100 million player and that is what they want for him."

Osimhen's recent struggles with scoring goals have been noted, including his lone goal at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and his performance in the recent Champions League match between Napoli and Barcelona.
