The Super Eagles of Nigeria have retained their 44th position in the latest FIFA men's ranking, released on Thursday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Augustine Eguavoen's side also maintained their fifth position in Africa, trailing behind Morocco, Senegal, Egypt, and Algeria.
After dropping eight places to 44th in November's ranking, the West Africans have stabilized their position.
At the top of the global rankings, reigning world champions Argentina held onto the number one spot, followed by France, Spain, England, and Brazil.
