Legendary player Fabio Capello has questioned AC Milan's purchase of Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze following the club's inconsistency, revealing that he has no fitting qualities to fit into the philosophy of team, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Capello via La Gazzetta dello Sport gave a thorough assessment of the team, stating that signings made by the club's chiefs during the summer transfer window were really not necessary hence the coach shouldn't be blamed for the team woes.
"In the past, Milan has always pushed more to the left and it would have been useful to balance with a similar player on the right. Unfortunately, Chukwueze has never really clicked and there is no alternative with similar characteristics.
"Before asking ourselves whether it was more or less right, let's ask ourselves two questions: who made the decisions? And above all, were the choices made in agreement with Paulo Fonseca, the coach? Well, knowing these answers would help to understand", he stated.
A possible separation is on the cards as the Nigerian winger seeks for more regular playing time.
