Ex-Ghana defender Adu Sarpei completes UEFA Pro Licence coaching badge

Ex-Ghana defender Hans Adu Sarpei has received his UEFA Licence A badge, paving the way for him to kick-start his coaching career. 

The 38-year-old is now qualified to take charge of any top-flight side in Europe after completing the course.

The former Ghanaian international took charge of German lower division side Tus Bruchhausen.

He played at the highest level in the German Bundesliga including Schalke 04, Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen.

Sarpei played at the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals in South Africa where Ghana reached the quarter-finals.

He was a sports analyst on German television station Tele5.

    Sapei is one of our accomplished professionals. UEFA grade A badge. That is a big achievement and I wish him all the best. Hopefully, he will get the chance to coach a top tier team in Europe and elsewhere someday including the Black Stars of Ghana.
