El-Kanemi Warriors striker Ibrahim Mustapha is back in Nigeria after his planned move to Egyptian club El Entag El Harby did not pull through, supersport.com can report.
The move to the Egyptian club failed to materialise, according to the forward.
"I am back with El-Kanemi for the remaining games of this season after I could not join the Egyptian club. For now that is all I can say as I want to concentrate on playing for El-Kanemi right now," he told supersport.com.
Mustapha has been thrown into the deep end to face Heartland in a rearranged Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) match at the Maiduguri Stadium on Saturday and he hopes to continue from where he stopped before his trip to north Africa.
"This is a good chance to play again, and as usual I want to help the team win as they have done so well in my absence by winning every home game since we returned to Maiduguri," said Mustapha to supersport.com.
Mustapha has scored nine league goals this season for El-Kanemi Warriors
