Egyptian giants Zamalek remember ex-Ghana captain Emmanuel Quarshie who died two years ago
Egyptian giants Zamalek on Wednesday remembered one of their best foreign players Emmanuel Quarshie who died two years ago from throat cancer.

The club’s official Twitter handle posted a short message to pay glowing tribute to the ex-Ghana captain.

Quarshie was influential in helping Zamalek to win the club's first-ever African Club Championships (now CAF Champions League) title in 1984.
His goal scoring form helped the White Knights to end their six-year league trophy drought by winning the league title.
Quarshie captained the Black Stars to win their last Africa Cup of Nations title in 1982 Libya.
He skippered Sekondi Hasaacas to win West African Football Union (WAFU) Cup in 1983.
