Nigeria’s Super Falcons in their hotel in Bordeaux were stocked in an elevator as they tried to get water for the rest of the team, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The team in preparation for the 2024 Olympics arrived Paris on Thursday before moving to their hotel while they look forward to their first Group C game against Brazil.
Meanwhile, the nine time African champions had a scary moment when about eight members of the team got entrapped in the the hotel’s elevator.
In a video shared on social media by Uchenna Kanu who together with Asisat Oshoala, Jennifer Echegini, Osinachi Ohale, Deborah Abiodun and three others, the Nigerian ladies were in the impatiently waiting for the elevator open while operators tried opening from the other side.
Although the properly managed situation looked scary to some of the players, but the rest of team waiting to receive their teammates made light work of it with Oshoala and Ohale laughing and cracking up each other.
The Super Falcons will be playing on Thursday will be participating in the historic competition for the first in 16 years.
