Nigeria international Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has expressed his excitement after scoring his first goal for Serie A club Lazio in their 3-0 UEFA Europa League victory over Dynamo Kyiv, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 23-year-old midfielder also assisted in Wednesday's win, capping an impressive display.
"I'm very happy for the goal and for having scored in front of our fans," Dele-Bashiru told Lazio Style Channel.
Dele-Bashiru praised his burgeoning partnership with teammate Boulaye Dia, highlighting their growing understanding on the pitch.
"It was important to start well, and I'm happy with my understanding of the pitch with Boulaye Dia."
Since joining Lazio from Turkish Super Lig club Hatayaspor this summer, Dele-Bashiru has settled seamlessly into the team
